Storyline
Thirty-five years in the life of Max, his best friend Sal and a woman they both adore, Lyla. The trio stumble through mandatory but seemingly unfulfilling entanglements, at weddings, funerals, hospitals, eateries, divorce courts and the tool shed. A deadpan fable about time sneaking up on and swerving right around us.

"I was expecting not to like this movie. Everything about it is not my style. This just as easily could have been a high school play than a movie. Nothing about it is a laugh-out-loud comedy, more like ha-that's-true-about-life. Having said all that, I couldn't stop watching it from start to finish. This is a comic strip summary of life events from a Sunday morning newspaper. It's that sample. The highs and lows are intentionally not realistic. 7/10 for painting a simple film of my life and so many others. It'll likely mellow people out for taking the highs & lows in life too seriously. Blink and it's over."
