Storyline

Sergei Kurguzov has just been promoted to colonel. At 34, he has had a successful career, but when he tells his father, a reserve lieutenant colonel, about it, he does not seem happy. The next morning, he runs away. Kurguzov has nowhere to hide. He travels around the country—on trains, in passing cars, without any specific destination.
