"**_A swinging Lawyer (Gil Gerard) meets a celibate marine biologist (Victoria Principal)_** After Buck Rogers, Gil tried his hand at this television movie. He actually looks better than in the show, trimmed down by a dozen lbs. He likely accomplished this via jogging seeing as how he appears in about three jogging sequences in the flick, usually with Larry from Three’s Company (Richard Kline). On the feminine side of things Victoria was a hot item on TV after her success as Pamela Ewing on Dallas, a part she would continue playing for another five years after shooting this. To capitalize on her popularity, she was writing her fitness book behind the scenes, The Body Principal, which would be released fifteen months later. Dyna Girl (Judy Strangis) and Markie Post show up in peripheral roles. The movie’s basically a step-up from stitching together 4.5 episodes of Three’s Company. The single’s dating scene is the focus with the wrench that Diana isn’t interested in promiscuous sex but wants to save that element for marriage, which knocks stud man Bob for a loop. Will he grow up and commit to a deep relationship or continue playing the field like a shallow frat boy? It runs 1h 35m and was shot in Apr-Jun 1982 in Los Angeles, including Plymouth Blvd, which is where Diana’s parents live. GRADE: B-"
