"Peter Lorre is, again, on good form as the eponymous sleuth. This adventure sees him in Egypt trying to thwart a cunning plan to cause havoc on the Suez Canal driving a wedge between the French Fleet and the Royal Navy that could cause WWII! It's maybe not the best "Moto" story, indeed its just a bit too far fetched, but as ever he has his dubious doppelgΓ€nger and George Sanders ("Norvel"), John Carradine ("Danforth") and the ever-reliable EE Clive add a bit of depth to this light and fluffy, but enjoyable, espionage drama."
