Storyline

Tsubaki Kato, Rio's mother and a bisexual woman, divorced and now lives alone with her daughter. Mitsuha Higuchi, Rio's close friend raised by a single parent, initially feels resentment toward Tsubaki but gradually becomes drawn to her warmth and affection.
