The Morrigan

"Scary monster is good enough Some of these movies rely on too many special effects, and while this movie has its fair share (and some of it quite cheap) the monster is interesting enough on its own, the characters relatable enough, and the narrative paced well enough for it work even without big setpieces. The casting is good, the direction better than expected, and the tension is high. This is a monster-movie, no doubt about it, and the monster works really quite well. I am happy I watched this."
