Biography

Fred Gwynne (July 10, 1926–July 2, 1993) was an American actor. He was best known for his roles in the 1960s sitcoms β€œCar 54, Where Are You?” and β€œThe Munsters,” as well as his later roles in the films β€œThe Cotton Club,” β€œPet Sematary,” and β€œMy Cousin Vinny.” He passed away from pancreatic cancer at age 66 in 1993.
