Fred Gwynne (July 10, 1926βJuly 2, 1993) was an American actor. He was best known for his roles in the 1960s sitcoms βCar 54, Where Are You?β and βThe Munsters,β as well as his later roles in the films βThe Cotton Club,β βPet Sematary,β and βMy Cousin Vinny.β He passed away from pancreatic cancer at age 66 in 1993.
