Biography

Eken Mine (ε³° 恡研, Mine Eken, February 15, 1935 - February 6, 2002) was a Japanese actor and voice actor from Nagasaki Prefecture. He was affiliated with Theater Echo since 1961. His wife was fellow voice actress Hiroko Maruyama (δΈΈε±± 裕子, Maruyama Hiroko). He mainly worked on dubbing Western movies. In anime, he mostly played characters of older men, villains, mild-mannered and father roles. He died of heart failure on February 6, 2002. He was 66 years old.
