Shao Lo-Hui
Biography
Shao Lo-Hui (éľçž čź) was a Taiwanese actor, director and writer. Born as Shao Shouli( éľĺŽĺŠ), he lived in the city of Tainan before his family moved to Japan. He studied direction at the Imperial Film and Drama School in Tokyo. After graduation, he worked as an actor for Shochiku Pictures Co., Ltd. in Osaka under the stage name Nakamura Bunzo (ä¸ććč). After World War II, he returned to Taiwan and worked for the Guofeng Theater Company (ĺ風ĺĺ). He later formed his own theatre troupe, Mei Fangyu Theatre Company (ć˘ čłçĺĺ). In 1955, he was hired to direct the Hokkien language film Six Gifted Scholars' Romance of the West-Chamber (ĺ ćĺ輿ĺťč¨).
