Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau Jr. (/ĖseÉŖ.aŹ/; SAY-ow; January 19, 1969 ā May 2, 2012) was an American professionalĀ footballĀ player who was aĀ linebackerĀ in theĀ National Football LeagueĀ (NFL), mostly with theĀ San Diego Chargers. Known for his passionate play, he was a six-time first-teamĀ All-Pro, twelve-timeĀ Pro Bowl selection, and named to theĀ NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.Ā He was elected posthumously to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
